Dear Sirs,

You are hereby informed that your above referred tender read with subsequent letters mentioned above for the store specified in the schedule annexed has been accepted. This rate Contract will be governed by the terms and conditions brought out in the Form No. DGS&D-1001 available from DGS&D sales counter on payment of Rs, 50.00. The Rate Contract and the schedule annexed here to shall be the sole repository of this rate contract/transaction.

3. The funds are available under the proper head in the sanctioned budget allotment for the year.

4. They have been fully authorized by the Department to sign the Supply Order and incur the liability in respect of the stores being ordered.

SCHEDULE “B”

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

PRICE VARIATION CLAUSE

1. Price of finished product quoted should be based on the following prices of

MS Wire Rods:

MS Wire rods of 6mm diameter Rs.17, 100 per MT exclusive of

of quality SWR-14 Excise duty and Sales Tax, ex-

Bhilai Plant.

2. Price to be taken into account for working the escalations/de-escalations will

be as declared by M/s.SAIL ex-Bhilai plant exclusive of Excise duty and Sales

Tax.

3. For any subsequent price variation of the MS Wire Road by M/s SAIL, the

R/C prices would be revised allowing price variation in the ratio of 1: 1 i.e. for every increase/ decrease of Rs.100/- PMT in the above said basic price of MS Wire Rods by M/s. SAIL, the Rate Contract prices shall be increased/ decreased by Rs.100/- PMT. The price taken for the purpose of working out adjustment will consist of basic price only as indicated above prevailing on the date 30 days prior to the date on which the said lot was offered for inspection as indicated in the inspection notes.

4. All relevant documents shall be submitted by you in this connection for

Verification of their claim.

5. Any variation in price which is less than Rs.100.00 PMT would not be allowed
