Dear Sir,

 

            On behalf of the purchaser (named in the schedule attached to the tender form enclosed),  I invite you to tender for the supply of stores detailed in said schedule.

 

2.         The conditions of contract which will govern any contract made are contained in Pamphlet No. DGS&D-36 entitled “conditions of contract governing contracts, placed by the Central Purchase Organization of the Government of India” as amended up to-date and those contained in the Pamphlet No. DGS&D-229 containing the various instructions to tenders quoting against the tender enquiries issued by the DGS&D(Also available on DGS&D website).  Any special conditions attached to this invitation to Tender will also form part of the conditions.

 

3.         The above pamphlets and the lists of corrections there to can be downloaded from DGS&D website or can be obtained on payment from the under mentioned officers:-

            (a)    The Manager of Publications, Civil Lines, Delhi.

            (b)  The Superintendent, Govt. Printing and Stationery U.P.Allahabad.

            (c)  The Superintendent, Govt. Printing and Stationery, Nagpur

            (d)   The Superintendent, Govt. Printing and Stationery, Bombay

            (e)  The Superintendent, Govt. Press, Madras

            (f)   The Superintendent, Govt. Printing, Gulzarbag, Patna(Bihar)

            (g)  DGS&D, New Delhi and its Regional Offices at Bombay, Madras, Calcutta

                   and Kanpur.

            (h)  Govt. of India Book Depot, 8 Hastings Street, Calcutta.

 

 

            4.  If you are in a position to quote for supply in accordance with the requirements stated in the attached schedule DGS&D form 242, form DGS&D-68-A/DGS&D-69A/DGS&D-70A/DGS&D-71A/DGS&D-72A/DGS&D-73A (Strike of whichever is not applicable)attached herewith (Also available on DGS&D website)should be duly filled in signed and returned to this office.  You must also furnish with you tender all the information called for as indicated in pamphlet No. DGS&D-229 mentioned in Para I above.  A list questions which should to be answered in attached, which should also be returned with the tender, failing which your tender will be liable to be ignored and not considered.

 

            Your tender should be submitted in duplicate/triplicate.  This tender is not transferable.
