SUB: Revised schedule for walk-in training for indentors/DDOs/consignees, at 26 locations, for placement of ‘online’ supply orders against DGS&D Rate contracts.

Ref: Finance Ministry’s circular No. 8(5)/E.II(A)/2006 dt. 10.1.2007.

The Deptt of Expenditure of Finance Ministry has made it mandatory, vide its circular referred above, that wef 1.4.2007, all indenting departments shall place supply orders ‘online’ through DGS&D website www.dgsnd.gov.in for purchase of items against its Rate contracts.

In compliance to above directives, DGS&D is organising hands-on training, with immediate effect, for indentors/DDOs/ consignees at 26 locations all over the country, on all Tuesdays (and also on Thursdays at 18 locations only) from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm, as per the schedule attached. The training shall not be conducted on holidays, falling on any of the days of training. The address, contact details and email IDs of DGS&D offices, where the training shall be held, are available under the link Helpdesk on website www.dgsnd.gov.in.

The training shall focus on usage of indentor’s page and placement of on-line supply orders through DGS&D website. The session shall include demo by the trainer and hands-on practice by the participants. It is suggested to depute ‘middle level officers’ for the training who shall develop as ‘trainers’ for the base level employees of the organization.

The indentors/DDOs are requested to intimate their participation in the training, at least one day in advance, by email, to the DGS&D officer who shall impart training.

This supersedes earlier circular no. J/13015/1/2006/C&T/VOL 2 dated 1.6.2007.
